Children's Ministry

The Children's Ministry of AFM in Zimbabwe is dedicated to providing a strong spiritual foundation for children under the age of 18. We believe that children are a heritage from the Lord and that it is our responsibility to nurture and guide them in the ways of God from a young age.

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)

Our Focus

Our primary focus is to lead children to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We create a safe, engaging, and loving environment where children can learn about God's word, experience His love, and discover their unique gifts and talents.

Through age-appropriate teachings, interactive Bible lessons, worship, and fun activities, we aim to:

  • Instill moral and biblical values that will guide them throughout their lives.
  • Encourage children to experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
  • Prepare them for baptism and active participation in the church community.
  • Provide holistic support for their emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.

Sunday School & Weekly Services

Every Sunday, our dedicated teachers and volunteers lead vibrant Sunday School sessions. These classes are tailored to different age groups, ensuring that every child receives teachings that they can understand and relate to. We complement this with weekly children's services that include joyful praise and worship, interactive storytelling, and prayer.

Annual Conferences

The Children's Ministry also hosts an Annual Conference at the Rufaro Conference Centre. This is a special time for children from different provinces to come together for fellowship, spiritual impartation, and celebration. The conference features special guest speakers, talent shows, and life-changing encounters with God tailored specifically for the young ones.

Our Objectives

Lead children to Christ; recommend baptism; encourage Holy Spirit baptism; nurture spiritual growth.
